Installation Instructions For HAMMER KINGPIN FLAME FORK GUARDS

READ COMPLETELY BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION

1) Remove the stock fork guards from the motorcycle by
removing the bolts on the inside of the fork guard
mounting struts.
2) Using the stock hardware , re-install your
fork guards in the same location.
3) Tighten the bolts .
4) Check the clearance between the top of the fork guards
and the fork tubes. There should be around 3/8 inch of
air gap. Pull the top of the fork guard out until there is
approximately 3/8 inch of clearance between any part of
the fork guard, and the fork tube at the top. The
clearance between the fork guard and the flared out
portion of the fork tube at the bottom will be somewhat
less.
5) WARNING – You must check the clearance between
your fork guards and any other accessories you may have
mounted on your bike such as lowers, light bars, etc.
This is very important! Do not ride until you are certain
there is sufficient clearance with the front forks FULLY
Compressed.
