- Certified victory motorcycle mechanic should do all
part installations.
- Remove forward socket head cap screw from foot control
mount on right side.
- Partially remove reward socket head cap screw, this
will allow the foot control bracket to rotate down.
- Now install tomahawk victory Vegas rear brake master
cylinder cover. The master cylinder cover will bolt in-between the frame and
foot control bracket It may be necessary to re-index the brake master banjo
fitting and resvoir line.
- Mark using a pen or paint marker where the resvoir
line to the master cylinder will contact tomahawk Vegas master cylinder
cover.
- Remove Tomahawk master cylinder cover and then wrap
master cylinder reservoir line with the red silicone anti chafe tape. This
tape only will adhere to itself so wrap around line and make sure it
contacts.
- Now take the Teflon strip of of anti chafe tape
(white) and install it on the foot control where the edge of the Tomahawk
master cylinder cover contacts the foot control bracket. Trim as necessary.
- Now reinstall Tomahawk master cylinder cover. Install
forward socket head cap screw first.
- Use the 2 zinc flat washers supplied to space out rear
foot control socket head cap screw. The washer is needed to compensate for
the Tomahawk master cylinder covers mounting plate.
- Make sure all fasteners have loctitie 242 on them
prior to reinstalling them. Make sure rear brakes function correctly prior
to operation of motorcycle, and that all lines are clear of any possibable
hazards.
