On the inside of the switch housings there is a little alignment dowel that will need to be ground down with a file or dremel tool or bars notched to fit if using stock controls
Some Grips fit tighter and bars will need to be sanded on the throttle side if not turning smooth prior to install.
MOST INSTALL CASES THESE WORK WITH THE STOCK CABLES. WE HAVEN’T TESTED EVERY YEAR AND TRIM MODEL BUT AS OF THE ONES WE HAVE INSTALLED STOCK CABLES DID WORK NO PROBLEM .
